The elephant's ear: Gokarna

Not easy to leave Gokarna, but it's time to see Hampi.

New songs are born every hour descriptive of our general situation with lyrics such as: "chai-chapati-chillum

Plenty of jugglers on Coudley...

Aaaand action.... Making a short movie on the beach.

Rock Namaste cafe on Coudley... there is always something good cooking

Done with morning prayer.

Gabri's playful friend.

If you hang out with too many Italians, sooner or later you'll end up making hand-made pasta... lots of it!!

The local bicycles are real uncomfortable, but most of them are nicely pimped up some way...

A great bunch of people gathered to celebrate Christmas, new years and life in general...all day, every day :-)

We have found the "fanciest" place to stay in Coudley beach. This is the owner of the establishment, relaxing at the main entrance.

At the gate of a temple...

In the town itself there are plenty of sadhus (like this one dashing trough the street) and random unidentifiable babas.

The nearby coastline is full of amazing walks...

The small town of Gokarna is full of surprises. It is a Hindu pilgrimage center, so the central water-basin is always busy with bathing monks.

After spending quite a while in Goa, we finally got down to Karnataka state.
